Inside Scoop: Red's & The Horse Farm

Lafayette's world class health club, Red's, has opened its gates to Lafayette's world-class park, The Horse Farm. Now members of Red's can have easy access to the 100-acre park since Red Lerille removed the fence along the Red's-Park property line.

We asked Red about the move and he said he's happy to have this as an option for members to run, walk and exercise in such a huge public space. He and his sons rode bicycles in The Horse Farm to train for their trek across Spain one year ago. It's a great space to train, he said, full of great trails and plenty of space to stretch out.

Whether you're a member of Red's or not, you gotta love a 100-acre park in the middle of our town. For now it's open during Saturday morning markets. It's great to know the neighbors are gearing up to make good use of the space.
